General Club Meetings:

Regular monthly club meetings are normally held on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning promptly at 7:30 PM and ending around 9:30 PM at the Norwood Civic Center Willett Room located at 165 Nahatan St., Norwood Mass. The Civic Center is Handicapped accessible, and ample free parking is available. In the event that the fourth Thursday falls on a holiday, which is sometimes the case in November and December, then the meetings are moved up a week to the third Thursday of the month.

There are no regular club meetings in July and August so that our members can enjoy vacation with their families. Be sure to check the club web page, or the web based event calendar for firm meeting dates.

On occasion, we need to move our meeting to an alternate location. Be sure to check the web site or the club net for meeting locations.

All regular club meetings are open to the public, and guests are always welcome.

E-Board Meetings:

Regular E-Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at local area restaurants. Depending on the location of the meeting, they begin at either 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM, and normally end around 9:00 PM. Unlike the regular club meetings, which break during the summer months, the E-Board meets year round.

E-Board meetings are open to all club members and their guests. However, we do ask that you let us know in advance if you will be attending so that we can firm up our dinner reservations.

VE Testing Sessions:

Norwood Amateur Radio Club sponsored VE and CE testing sessions are held on the third Thursday of each month except when our regular club meeting is moved up a week to accomodate holidays beginning at 7:00 PM and ending when all applicants have been served at the Canton EMA EOC Training Room located at 99 Revere St., Canton Mass.

Talk-in to our VE testing sessions is available on the 147.210, and 449.425 repeaters up to the start of the session.

Over the air meetings:

Although not actual club meetings, our weekly club net held on Tuesday evenings beginning at 8:00 PM on the club's W1JLI Memorial repeater 147.210 contain a wealth of information about the goings on in the club. Our nets are held year round and are open to all amateur operators.
